At Keiron Starns Care Agency Ltd, our vision is to create a home where individuals with learning disabilities are empowered to live fulfilling, independent and meaningful lives.
We are committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice and inclusion.
We believe in supporting our service users to live life as independently as they can, with us behind them to support and guide them in making good decisions.
At present, we have 5 members of care staff and 3 service users. Care is provided on either a 1:3, 1:2 or 1:1 basis, depending on the service user’s care plan.
Our carers support service users in everyday life, assisting them with shopping, banking, personal care, hospital visits, tailored activities and much more.
Our vision is to have a supported living home where the men we support:
- Live as independently as possible, with the support they need to reach their personal goals.
- Feel safe, valued and respected, enjoying their home as a place of comfort.
- Are included in their community, with opportunities to take part in activities, develop friendships and contribute in meaningful ways.
- Have their voices heard and choices respected, making decisions about their daily lives, routines and aspirations.
- Respect and Dignity: We treat every person as an individual, recognising their strengths, preferences and rights.
- Empowerment: We support each person to make choices, develop skills and gain confidence in managing their lives.
- Compassionate Care: We provide support with kindness and understanding, building trusting relationships with those we support.
